【Detection Purpose】
Feline heartworm (FHW), a p ar asitic strongyloides, can enter the heart and pulmonary
artery system, damage the heart and pulmonary blood vessels and tissues, and greatly aff
ect the health of pets. Therefore, reliable and effective detection has a positive guiding role
in prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
【Detection principle】
This produ ct uses fluorescence immunochromatography to quantitatively detect FHW in
serum/plasma.
Basic principle: The nitrocellulose membrane is marked with T and C lines, and the T line
is coated with an antibody a that specifically recognizes FHW. The binding pad is spraye d
with another fluorescent nanomaterial-labeled antibody b that can specifically recognize
FHW, and the FHW in the sample first binds to the nanomaterial-labeled antibody b to
form a complex, and then upward chromatography, the complex binds to the T-line
antibody a to form a sandwich structure, and when the excitation light is irradiated, the
nanomaterial emits a fluorescent signal, and the strength of the signal is positively
correlated with the concentration of FHW in the sample
